BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INFAMUS, the ‘Feel Like Crying’ artiste will be hosting his first ever Birthday Bash at Ma Pau, located at Port Zante, on Saturday, February 20.

He will also use the event to release his third music video for his single ‘Gonna Make It’. The Birthday Bash will feature the sounds of Outlaw, Chalice, Evolution, Sweet Sister Sensia, DJ Rubbers, Xtortion and the Nu Vybes Band while the first 100 patrons will receive a free CD.

Infamus, who was born Kervin Benjamin, said the event is aimed at celebrating his 21st birthday with his fans and to show appreciation for their overwhelming support and love towards his career so far.

A teaser for ‘Gonna Make It’ was released last week and has created quite a buzz around St. Kitts and Nevis. The video is being produced by Nigel Lewis of Tru Capo, who has produced Infamus’ past videos including ‘21 Gun Salute (We Miss You)’ and ‘Feel Like Crying’.

The musical accompaniment for ‘Gonna Make It’ was produced by Zaggadon Productions, which also produced ‘21 Gun Salute (We Miss You)’.

The Cayon resident said that his music comes from real life experiences and what he observes of others, noting that that vibe is reflected in all of his songs.

According to the artiste, ‘Gonna Make It’, which has a hook of “I wanna know what it’s like to live a rich life and have money”, is not necessarily about being rich.

“The song is about wanting to live better and see better things happening for myself and others. It’s not necessarily about wanting to be rich, it’s about living a comfortable life,” the artiste said.

“This song is for the hard working people out there; the mothers who work two jobs just to take care of their children. It’s for the ones who work honestly and are overlooked by their superior, the young men who choose to work hard instead of robbing and stealing.

I understand what it’s like for them, it’s not easy. This is what ‘Gonna Make It’ is about…just a comfort to them that one day they’re gonna make it in this life.”

According to Infamus’ manager Diego Spanner, “security would be tight” and he is encouraging everyone to follow the strict dress code stipulated by Ma Pau, which includes no baggy jeans, no flip flops or shorts, but to dress to impress.
