This is because of a two-day seminar being held in St. Kitts.

The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, located in Taylors Village, has organized the event with a number of seminars. The first one was held last Friday (February 12) at the FND Conference Room.

According to the speaker of the two-day event, Anand Singh, the lectures are critically important in addressing a number of issues affecting members of the public. He said that the lectures are also geared towards ensuring persons could come out as heroes rather than victims from the challenges and difficulties they are facing.

Singh, who has been lecturing for the past fifteen years, pointed out that he intends to assist those who attend the lectures to see a number of fresh new ways of looking at life.

“We all know that we have the power to allow ourselves to not be stuck in the negatives and frustration that life has to offer. However, we can create a life that is not full of obstacles but rather opportunities, as we must understand that we can dictate if we are going to accept the opportunities that life presents or the stumbling blocks,” he said.

Singh stressed the importance for persons to not allow the difficulties and challenges faced to bug them down in life but rather to learn how we can garner positive thinking so as to address the issues of life. He went on to note that people should not loose sight of the values of life and self esteem as he strongly believe that each person holds the power to a better life .

He declared that he is very excited and eager to address the two topics that will be discussed admitting that the first lecture which addressed the issue; from my Vantage Point was very well received by those in attendance. “There is benefit in everything…provided that we can see things from our vantage point. When we have a clear view of the whole picture, the inner workings and secrets, we can then observe the opening of many doors of opportunities,” he said, adding that one could always choose the stepping stone to one’s life’s advantage.

Singh declared that Monday’s lecture is one that the public should not miss, which he said addresses the issue of finding the remedy. “We al have inner strength and inner spark that can perform wonders in our own physical, emotional and spiritual healing,” he said.

The IT Manager, who expressed eagerness in being able to deliver his lectures, said that more often people look outwards for some type of quick remedy only to find that it is a temporary fix. “We can learn once again to tap into our inherent reserves and find an endless fountain of wellness that can last for as long as we wish,” he declared.

Singh reiterated his organization’s desire and expectations in seeing a large turnout, noting that all the sessions are free as his organization does not collect payment for any of its humanitarian and other work, but are open to voluntary contributions.
