BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Miss BVI Pageant Committee is currently seeking contestants between the ages 17 to 27 for this year’s pageant.
According to a press release by Alicia Green, Chairperson of the Pageant Committee, young ladies desirous of contesting in the 2010 BVI Pageant asked to log on to their website at www.missbvi.com or email info@missbvi.com to submit applications.
The deadline for applicants is March 15. The contestants will be judged in the Introduction/Platform Speech, Swimwear, Cultural Dress, Talent, Evening Wear, and Question and Answer segments.
Josefina Nunez won the prestigious title last year from a field of six contestants. She also took the awards for Best Talent, Best Evening Wear, Best Cultural Wear, Miss Poised and Miss Popularity.
Nunez will be representing the BVI in the 2010 59th annual Miss Universe Pageant this summer.
