BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A huge crowd had gathered in the streets of Basseterre last Saturday (Feb. 13) to get another taste of the Road March Champs as they held their Victory Jam to celebrate their three-peat win of the Road March title.

The Victory Jam began at 6:00 p.m. as the Grand Masters Band left their band house and headed for Cayon Street.

According to the Manager of the band, Wingrove Hicks, the Jam was ended by police officers at about 9:45 p.m. due to a fight.

He said that apart from the fight, the Victory Jam had an excellent turnout.

Hicks said that Grand Masters’ fans could look forward to another jam session on Friday, as the band would start jamming at 6:00 p.m. from their band house down to Carnival Village, where the carnival prize giving ceremony would take place.
