BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A woman police officer and her male friend are soon to appear in court to answer charges of drugs possession and possession with intent to supply.
According to a police press release, Jeneve Mills of Prickley Pear Alley and Woman Police Officer Monica Williams of St. Paul’s appeared before a magistrate at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court and are on bail to the tune of $5 000 each.
The drugs charges were instituted after a search warrant was executed by police early Friday morning (Feb. 12) on the Prickley Pear Alley premises of Mills.
The release states that both of them were formally arrested and charge on “warrants in the first instance for possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply”.
Mills and Williams are scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Monday (Feb. 22) to answer to the charges. Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing.
