Infamus Birthday Bash and Video Release Party a success

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – HUNDREDS of persons partied in style Saturday (Feb. 20) Saturday (Feb. 20) when Infamus held his Birthday Bash and Video Release Party at Ma Pau, which was hailed a success.

     

    The entertainment for the night was made up of top quality acts including the Nu Vybes Band, Evolution Sounds, Outlaw Sounds, Chalice Sounds and Sweet Sister Sensia.

     

    There was also early juggling by DJ Rubbers and Xtortion Sound. The dance floor was packed with persons enjoying the latest sounds in Soca, Dancehall and Reggae.

     

    A VIP section was established at the event while fans were able to take photos and mingle with Infamus, who turned 21 on Thursday, February 18.

     

    According to a spokesperson on behalf of Infamus, the event was successful and they were pleased with the turnout.
    “We would just like to apologise to persons who came to the event and were unable to enter because management of Ma Pau decided to close the door after a while, because they feared security would have been unable to control the crowd.

     

    “But our initial agreement with them was for the entrance door to remain open until the end of the event and that they would not limit the persons granted, that we maximised on security and that were allowed to utilise the entire top floor to facilitate the large crowd,” they said.

     

    On the night of the party, the artiste, whose real name is Kervin Benjamin, showcased his latest music video for his song ‘Gonna make It’, which was well-received.

     

    The video was produced by Nigel Lewis of Tru Capo; the man behind his previous music videos ‘21 Gun Salute (We Miss You)’ and ‘Feel Like Crying’.

     

    Persons expressed that they were really impressed with the new video which they said speaks of real life situations.
    “His music is just real, everyone has someone who they miss, everyone has someone that makes them feel like crying and everyone wants to know what it feels like to live a rich life,” said a young man.

     

    “He is from the streets so he knows what we going through and how to bring it across in his music. He just bad like that,” said a female fan.

     

    The music video can now be seen on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ2Vcm10rPE The artiste is now focusing on performing on major upcoming events and producing his album ‘Life & Times’.
