KINGSTON, Jamaica - IN just a matter of weeks, Vybz Kartel, leader of the Portmore Empire, has lost another one of his members as rising Dancehall artiste Black Ryno has decided to exit the popular group.
This has been the third member the group has lost and it is said in some quarters that there seems to be trouble in the Empire camp. First there was Lisa Hype, now known as Lisa Hyper, who was dismissed from the group after a photo was posted on the internet of the singer performing sexual acts.
Weeks later, Gaza Kim, who is now going solo as Kym, left the group after she was beaten by members of the Portmore Empire which was said to be an order passed down by Vybz Kartel.
According to a popular Jamaican website, One876Entertainment, Black Ryno told them that his decision to leave the Empire has nothing to do with financial problems.
However, his decision to exit Portmore Empire is still unclear but a source close to the group said tension has been in the air for some time now and the artiste felt that this was a good time to declare his departure.
