CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - As one audience member put it, “It’s Simply Exciting and I will be Going to All the Shows.” With people in the doorway, parking lot, side street, and along the island main road, the Rumours Restaurant and Bar exploded last Thursday, March 11th, as thirty (30) Performers from the Carib – TDC - LIME sponsored 2010 - Karaoke Idol belted out some crazy tracks.
With tunes like I “Dont’ Want to Wait in Vain” to have some “Red Red Wine,” as “I Can’t Help Falling in Love,” being a “Natural Woman,” do I need to say that “Everything I Do I Do for You,” because “I Will Always Love You,” but if “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” just remember even though “She’s Royal,” “I Won’t Let Go,” because “All That She Wants” is to have it her Way, when really and truly it should be “My Way,” The Show was off the Link, Chain, Lock, and all other things.
The audience also got lucky as they were able to collect numerous raffle prizes from the Platinum Sponsors Carib Brewery and TDC. These included Clocks, Photo Albums, Travel irons, Carib, Malt, and a host of other goodies.
The Karaoke Idol caravan moves next to Legends Sports Bar on Wednesday 17th, starting promptly at 8:00 pm and “Believe us!” it does start at 8:00 pm In commenting on the Show, the Organizers were quick to praise the Performers, Judges, Venues, and the Audience members themselves.
“They are the ones making the Carib – TDC – LIME Karaoke Idol a success, and we are eternally grateful.”
Noah Mills, one of the Committee members also stated that the next staging for SEN Consulting will be the St. Kitts Karaoke Idol and registration is now open to Kittitians and legal residents of St. Kitts to sign up. So, persons interested in taking part in the upcoming 2010 - St. Kitts Karaoke Idol are asked to call 662-6624.
