The Blue Martini Piano Bar at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort formalized on its initiative with PAWS last week with the handing over of its sponsorship cheque to the organization.
The Blue Martini had announced its collaboration with PAWS as part of its donations back to St. Kitts /Nevis charities. PAWS joined with the Blue Martini Piano Bar in promoting The Blue Martini's Bertie Higgins LIVE concert on February 27th at the Blue Martini. Bertie Higgins, with major international hits such as “Key Largo”, “Casablanca”, and “Just Another Day in Paradise” got rave reviews from attendees, many of whom commented that it was the best concert they had seen this season. The event's patrons made up a wide cross-section of Kittitian nationals, residents, visitors, and professionals.
Bertie Higgins, who currently records internationally for Universal Music, was the third LIVE concert at the Blue Martini this season. The Blue Martini not only teamed up with PAWS, but turned the show into an unprecedented event by offering admission to this very special concert coupled with an All You Can Drink Special, which allowed ticket holders to enjoy the international live music of Bertie Higgins with cocktails galore all night for US $35.00.
For their next upcoming concert on Saturday March 27th, the Blue Martini is presenting Wayne Nelson, lead vocalist for international chart toppers The Little River Band, and the multiple Grammy-nominated band Ambrosia. This will certainly be the Blue Martini's biggest concert yet. Kittitians & Nevisians will be treated to a concert never before seen in St. Kitts/Nevis, with over two hours of classic radio hits from two bands who have collectively sold over 50 million records worldwide. Hits songs to be performed that night include, “Reminiscing”, “Biggest Part of Me”, “Lady”, “The Other Guy”, “How Much I Feel”, “The Night Owls”, “Lonesome Loser”, “Help is On the Way”, and many, many more top ten hits.
