KINGSTON, Jamaica – WITH the success of the catchy 2009 tune, ‘Skip to Ma Luu’, Serani and Ding Dong have teamed up once again on a new song called ‘Drive Out’.
Serani is back with more party songs and is hoping that he and Ding Dong have made another hit with ‘Drive Out’.
What is also special about the song is the Calypso meets Reggae music combination with selector Biggy doing the introduction.
There is also a dance for the song created by Pencil Man from Ravers Clavers, according to the Jamaica Star online.
The site reported that Serani is doing music for people to have fun.
"When you do a song people can dance to, I don't like it where you telling people to move left and then right, that's played out. I love a song like Holiday, where you just have fun and you have a dance to go to that song.
"Ding Dong is somebody mi rate and know from long time, so when di music good and the link good, a vibe happen like Skip to Ma Luu and now Drive Out," Serani told the site of his connection with Ding Dong.
The song was produced by DASECA, a music production company of which Serani is a member. DASECA will be releasing its 'Genesis' rhythm online tomorrow (Mar. 23) and also its other upcoming rhythm called 'Dancehall Again' with Bounty Killer, Mr. Vegas, Elephant Man, Bugle and others.
