Explicit photos of Vybz Kartel circulating

By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - JAMAICAN artiste Adijah Palmer, popularly known as Vybz Kartel or De Teacha, has been making headlines over the past few weeks concerning more than just his music.

Just last week, photos were seen on the internet with a young lady pleasuring the Gaza boss with oral sex and, according to popular Jamaican website 876radio.com, the photos were sent to their office by an anonymous source.

The photos, they said, looked as if they had been taken with a low tech camera. A few months ago he was also accused of being the male who was receiving oral pleasure from fellow Jamaican artiste Lisa Hype after some photos taken with a cell phone had surfaced the internet; but this was never confirmed as his face was not seen.

However, regarding last week’s photos, two additional photos have joined them with different women and Vybz Kartel has now broken his silence and is speaking on the matter.

According to Kartel, the leak of the images is due to the fact that his Blackberry phone got misplaced while on a recent professional assignment. Kartel told 876radio that he does not understand why there is all this chaos and controversy surrounding the photographs, when all of Jamaica knows he is the Luke of Dancehall, hence this should come as no surprise, while adding, "Haven't they been listening to my music over the years?”

The website further stated that since the release of the photos, the women caught in the act are angry with the singer but Kartel notes that they are unknown to the public and it is he who is faced with the brunt of the criticisms.

Vybz Kartel is known as one of the biggest and best dancehall artistes to come out of Jamaican. He is also known for hits such as ‘Romping Shop’ which features Spice, ‘No Fraid A Nobody’, ‘Virginity’, ‘Go Go Club’, ‘Picture This’, ‘Badda Dan Dem’, ‘Emergency’ and a list of others.
