    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE 29th staging of the Annual International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) ceremony date has been set for Sunday, May 2 at the York College Performing Arts Center in Jamaica (Queens), New York. 

     

    Fans and other interesting persons can cast ballots online at the official awards website: WWW.IRAWMA.COM in a number of categories. 

     

    This star-studded red carpet event will feature the best Reggae, Caribbean and world music entertainers including Gramps Morgan, Tony Rebel, Allison Hinds, Queen Ifrika, Julian Marley, Macka Diamond, Barbie, Dean Fraser and Machel Montano. 

     

    The award ceremony is produced annually by Martin’s International & Associates and this year it is being dedicated to Health Awareness.

     

    The general admission is US$59 while Gold VIP is US$95 and Platinum VIP at US$150.

     

    The official launch party for this event will be held on April 1 at Crush Mansion in New York, where tickets will be on sale at special prices for that night only.
