BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – RECALDO RICHARDSON, a.k.a. Jubilee John, is the new co-host for SKNVibes’ entertainment show ‘Watch Dem Coming’.
Richardson will be replacing Kesean ‘Hi-light’ James, who has been hosting the show since its inception in June 2009.
Richardson, known for his natural comedic personality, said that he is excited about co-hosting the show.
“I feel excited that SKNVibes has even considered me to do this because it’s been a while since I’ve been out of the entertainment field,” he said.
Richardson said that he followed ‘Watch Dem Coming’ from the start and is a fan of anything on SKNVibes.com.
Those that may not be too familiar with Richardson need to know that with his inclusion on the show he is going to bring new energy, fun and ‘craziness’.
“I’m going to bring some craziness, some more craziness and probably some twists and turns that people wouldn’t expect,” he said.
He has in the past hosted talent shows dressed as various characters and had brought much excitement to the audience.
“It’s going to be a secret each time what character I’m going to bring.
I can bring Jubilee, I can bring the Rastaman, I can bring the grandmother, I can bring Ricki and also Laquesha, and I can even bring the Prime Minister to it. So it’s going to be something unexpected…you never know what you’re going to get,” he said.
‘Watch Dem Coming’ is about capturing the different styles, actions, behaviours and personalities of people on Fridays after work in downtown Basseterre.
According to Cherisse Sutton-Jeffers, the other host of the show, she is very excited to work with Richardson and the new episode featuring him would be shot this Friday and aired on the following Friday (Apr. 16).
Some of the topics that are discussed on the show include the way people dress, liming spots, slangs, hot issues and jokes.“We just want to have clean fun, free up ourselves and interact with the people out there,” Sutton-Jeffers said.
