The St. Kitts Nevis Football Association wishes to advise that in recognition of the fact that if the FA proceeds to fixture the matches for the playoffs of Five (5) teams and Clubs refuses to participate the consequences could be quite serious for the players.
In attempt to avoid the above and to bring resolution, the FA sought the advice of the CONCACAF President and FIFA 1st Vice President - Mr. Austin Jack Warner.
In correspondence to the SKNFA on Sunday 30th April, Mr. Jack Warner CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President advised the SKNFA as follows
1. The Decision of the Arbitrators be implemented
2. The Playoffs be Five(5) teams
3. If teams refuse to play the F.A will have no alternative but to proceed and fixture the teams that have agreed to participate
4. Notify the Five teams of his position that is the playoffs be five teams, and
5. Advise the General Public of his position that the playoffs be five teams
Having written to the Five clubs on Sunday 30th April 2006 by this press release the SKNFA has complied with the instructions of the CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President - Mr. Austin Jack Warner
