Charlestown, Nevis - The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla Trading and Development Company (TDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Keesha Jones to the Board of TDC (Nevis) Limited.
Ms. Jones who joined the TDC Group fourteen (14) years ago is presently the Manager of the Nevis branch of FINCO, the St. Kitts-Nevis Finance Company. She began as a Clerk at TDC Rentals in 1996, where she acquitted herself well. In 2001, she was granted study leave by the Company and pursued studies at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) where she graduated Summa Cum Laude (top of the class) in 2004, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Upon her return to the Federation in 2004, she was appointed the Assistant Manager in the TDC Home and Building Depot (Nevis) where she functioned as a member of the Group’s Marketing Team with responsibility for its Nevis operation. She was then appointed to her present position at the helm of the FINCO branch office in Nevis in January 2007.
A daughter of Cotton Ground, Ms. Jones got her early education at the St. Thomas’ Primary School while her High School years were spent at the Charlestown Secondary.
The avid sports enthusiast is also active in her Community, as well as, Church and has been a Director on the Board of the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) since 2006.
She has also functioned in the NTA in the capacity of Deputy Chairperson in 2008 and the Acting Chairperson in 2009. While she performs this busy schedule, Ms. Jones is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Finance at the University of Leicester and is expected to graduate in the summer of 2010.
