BASSETERRE, St.Kitts - On Thursday April 22, 2010 Xpress Events, a newly established events management company, launched its “VIP Experience” for the upcoming 14th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival.
The Xpress Events team lived up to their promise of being passionate and creative at staging events by transforming Bobsy’s to replicate the “VIP Experience” with elaborate décor, imaginative cocktails, mouth watering hors d’ oeuvres prepared by Bobsy’s and ultra professional service.
Mr. Marlon Grant, an event planner from Trinidad and Tobago hosted the event and endorsed the venture being undertaken by Ms. Shannon Hawley and Ms. Siobhan Lloyd of Xpress Events. He spoke of the VIP experience offered at other regional music festivals and events and confirmed that the time was right for the VIP experience to be added to the St. Kitts Music Festival.
Mr. Faron Lawrence, Chairman of the St. Kitts Music Festival Committee congratulated Xpress Events for this first time initiative and reaffirmed that the Festival Committee was commited to partnering with Xpress Events to ensure an experience like no other.
Ms. Shannon Hawley, founder of Xpress Events provided a synopsis of the company stating that it consisted of “a team of individuals who take an uncomplicated approach to event management; offering a turnkey service from design and decor, food and beverage catering, to clean up crews giving clients the opportunity to execute events with ease.”
Hawley expressed sincere thanks to Smoke & Booze Duty Free for coming on board as the major sponsor of the Premium VIP Gallery through its premium brands and encouraged guests to always drink responsibly. The campaign to drink responsibly throughout the festival was highlighted earlier by Shawn Weston, Managing Director of Smoke & Booze Duty Free during his brief remarks.
Ms. Hawley emphasised the “VIP Experience is about adding value to what the St. Kitts Music Festival has already created. It is about the ease of services to fully enjoy our beautiful festival.”
