BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE ‘Mama Love’ music video sung by the Chronical’s Family Fire and Shakal is now being shown on Tempo.
Shakal, whose real name is Lynshel Peetes, told SKNVibes that he received an email from Tempo’s Marketing Director stating that they had seen the video on www.youtube.com and were interested in having it shown on Tempo.
The video, which is dedicated to all mothers and depicts raw emotions and real mothers as well as their children in their everyday life, was released over a month ago.
The music video started airing on Tempo on Wednesday, May 5 after the contracts were signed, giving the Caribbean channel permission to do so.
Peetes said that it was a good achievement for them and it is encouraging to he and his partner to continue with their music.
The music video was produced by Kelvin Christopher of E Ova Now Productions.
According to Peetes, the duo is currently working on their next music video titled ‘Mood for Love’, which is for the lovers.
A few weeks ago, fellow local artiste Infamus also had his music videos aired on Tempo, which included his most recent video ‘Gonna Make It’.
