Rawlston Prentice plead guilty to malicious damage done to a vehicle belonging to the Church of Christ Church on Cunningham Street on April 19, 2006.
The police prosecutor gave evidence in court on Monday May 8, that Randolph Prentice who is the brother of Rawlston, was at his home along with his and acquaintance Clement Thomas.
Rawlston drove up to their home in Market Street and approached Thomas with a hammer who was outside along with the couple.
Rawlston approached Thomas with a hammer as if to strike him where a struggle ensued and Randolph intervened.
After the struggle Rawlston made threats towards Randolph saying that he would kill him and his wife.
Then Rawlston began complaining that Randolph had stolen his car keys and threatened that he would 'mash up' his vehicle.
The Police Prosecutor told the court that Rawlston then approached PA4586 with a tool and began damaging the vehicle.
After which, Randolph made a call to the police reporting the matter which brought about the charge against Rawlston for unlawfully and maliciously damaging the vehicle.
Magistrate Josephine Mallalieu-Webbe told Rawlston at the court that he should return on Friday for his sentencing.
His brother Randolph would be present to give evidence in court concerning the cost of the damaged vehicle.
Rawlston told the court that he and his brother had an argument which turned into a fight and that the damage to the bus was not intentional.
On Friday May 12, he will receive his sentencing.
