BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ROLHENSHA HENRY continues to make waves with her melodious voice and will soon be demonstrating her talent to the American public as she is expected to grace the stage at the Best of the Best Concert in Miami on Sunday, May 30.
Best of the Best is an all-day annual event that features some of the best performers in Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, Soca and Hip-Hop.
According to Shane Pereira of Hollywood Production, who is part of her marketing team along with Cheddi Bradshaw of Island Soul Entertainment, he made the connection through his friendship with Bobby Konders and Jabba of ‘Pull Up Selector’ on Tempo.
“Jabba told me he wanted an artiste from St. Kitts to feature on the Best of the Best Concert, and seeing that me and Cheddi work together I gave Henry the opportunity,” Pereira said.
Pereira added that Jabba said he is excited about Henry’s performance, as this would be the first time the concert would feature an artiste of the twin-island Federation.
Henry, who also expressed her excitement, briefly told SKNVibes PEP that “I am looking forward to see how the people out there would respond to me.”
She said this would be her first performance outside of the Caribbean, as she had performed in 2008 at Moon Splash in Anguilla.
She recently completed a new single titled ‘Tee’. Another big accomplishment was her recent collaboration with Jamaican Reggae sensation Gyptian.
The excitement does not stop there with Henry, as she was recently confirmed for this year’s St. Kitts Music Festival .
One of her more popular tracks to date, which has been making headway on the airwaves, is ‘Defend It’ which also features a music video.
Some of the names released so far for the Best of the Best Concert include Diddy, Rick Ross, Nicky Minaj, Capleton, Pinchers, Serani, Lady Saw, Demarco, Anthony B, GWhizz, Macheal Montano and Gucci Man.
