Mr. Lazar said the official opening ceremony of the new Warner Park Cricket Stadium commences at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday 20th May.

Prime Minister Douglas who is also Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport will also officially open the facility by unveiling the plaque and perform the duties of cutting the ribbon.
Welcome remarks will be delivered by Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for World Cup Cricket (St. Kitts and Nevis) Ltd, Mr. Charles Wilkin, Q.C.; Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan, His Excellency John Liu, Managing Director of Terra Forma, Mr. Val Kempado and a representative of West Indies Cricket.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Liu, whose Asian nation has financed the construction of the new Warner Park Cricket Stadium, will present a cheque in the sum of US$2.5 million to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.
India is in the Caribbean and plays five ODIs and four Tests, with the first two one-dayers to be played in Kingston, Jamaica on Thursday and Saturday.
The third ODI will be played in St. Kitts on May 23rd, which has been declared a public holiday and is also the 28th anniversary of the death of Former Premier and First National Hero, the Right Excellent Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw. The other two ODI's will be played in Trinidad on May 26th and 28th.
The first test match opens at the Antigua Recreation Ground from June 2nd to 6th; the second test will be played from June 10th to 14th in St. Lucia; the third test from June 22nd to 26th at Warner Park, in St. Kitts and the final test is set for Sabina Park, Jamaica from June 30th to July 4th .
