BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - JUST two weeks before the release of her new single ‘Tee’ and Rolhensha is on a new track with Jamaican Reggae songbird Gyptian, titled ‘Just A Lil Loving’.
The collaboration between the two singers, according to Cheddi Bradshaw of Island Soul Entertainment, was possible because his connections with a close friend of Gyptian.
The mellow track speaks of the two artistes getting a little loving after working hard then going their separate ways. On the track, they both sing subsequent to the other in a soft romantic tone.
According to Rolhensha, this is her first time doing a song such as this. “I am excited about the track and I really like it. It’s a different concept to anything I have sung before.”
She said people are really enjoying the song, judging from the comments on her Facebook and MySpace pages.
Some of her other tracks include ‘Defent It’, ‘Always’, ‘Too Bad’ and her latest ‘Tee’. Gyptian, on the other hand, is a very popular Reggae artist known for tracks such ‘I Can Feel Your Pain’, ‘Beautiful Lady’, ‘Serious Times’ and ‘Hold You’, which has been blowing up the airwaves and has been remixed by a number of artistes. In May, the ‘Hold You’ single also peaked at number 33 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Chart.
According to Bradshaw, who does the marketing Rolhensha’s music, there are a lot of things in store for the artiste and this is just a preview of what is to come.
