LIME flagship store now stylish and modern

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LIME has given its customers a huge surprise with the complete overhaul and facelift of its Cayon Street flagship store, transforming the retail space into a stylish and modern model of customer service.

LIME Regional VP of Retail Dennis Ali said he is very proud to see the transformation to a “spectacular store”, describing it as the best facelift that he has seen of the LIME stores throughout the region. The new retail space is a demonstration of LIME’s commitment to deliver superior customer service, he said.

“We have a new vision for the Caribbean and part of that is to come up with a very high-valued, very upscale look and feel to our stores—very fresh, very young, very exciting. We went through a great deal of effort to come up with a concept that we think our customers will really respond to.”

The new store is alive with upscale office fixtures, classy showcases and a whole new layout against a backdrop of accent colours. A top-up machine and drop box have been made available on the outside of the store and a ramp and handrails make for an easy entrance for the elderly and disabled.

A new glass door opens to a spacious retail centre lined with flat screen monitors and glass showcases for LIME’s latest products. Break-off activity areas are to make way for a soon-to-come BlackBerry centre and larger areas to display a wide array of merchandise and LIME accessories.

“I think you all would agree it provides a lot of different colour, fun and excitement and that is the vision for LIME. You’re going to see that reflected in a lot of different areas in our business,” Ali told the media at a soft opening at the new store yesterday (June 2).

Though the renovations took about two months to complete, they were a necessary part of the evolution of the LIME brand, of which the final product will soon be revealed. The new setting wowed St. Kitts-Nevis General Manager David Lake, who said the new design shows a different face of LIME in its evolving brand.

“I’ve been looking forward to today for such a long time and I know our customers have been as well. We are very grateful for your patience and understanding during what was quite a protracted period of renovations...but I think what you will see when you do come would be more than worth the extra wait.

“This is an experience like none other in the Federation; I think we have set a new standard for what retail is going to be for the Federation. I’m extremely proud of it and I’m sure when you come you will be too,” Lake said.

The General Manager praised the work of Raymore and Associates in making the fresh design a reality and assured customers that the new setting will be paired with a higher level of customer service and an improved business portfolio for the premier telecommunications company.
