    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 25TH 2006 - Nine bills will be introduced and read a first time when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets Thursday.
    Five of them will be given a second reading debated and passed.
     
    Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas will introduce the Property Tax Bill, 2006; the Provisional Collection of Revenue (Amendment) Bill 2006; the Income Tax (Amendment)  (No.2) Bill, 2006; the Stamp (Amendment) Bill 2006; the Tax Administration and Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2006 and the Condominium (Amendment) Bill, 2006.
     
    Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris will introduce the CARICOM Community (Movement of Factors) Bill, 2006; Minister of National Security, Justice, Immigration and Labour, Hon. Dwyer Astaphan will introduce the Immigration (Amendment) Bill 2006 and the Minister of State in the Ministry of Technology, Sen. The Hon. Nigel Carty will introduce the Telecommunications (Amendment) Bill 2006.
