BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - JUST after the Best Of The Best final in Miami on Tuesday, June 1, Bobby Chin of Black Chiney was hospitalised after being viciously beaten.
According to partyxtraz.com, during a party that was held at The Mansion, dubbed ‘New York vs. Miami’, where New York Sounds: Massive B/Steelie/YoungChow/Platinum Kids vs. Miami Sounds: Black Chiney/Supa Sound/Poison Dart/Innocent Sound,
words were thrown on stage by the selectors from the two sounds and, in the end, all of the DJs from NY ‘punked’ out and refused to play any more music.
After security had left the venue and Chin was on his way out, he was attacked by who sources identified as Jabba of Massive B, Young Chow from Platinum Kids and Pretty Posse from Queens. Chin was then rushed to the hospital.
Black Chiney was in St. Kitts on Saturday, May 29 and played for a dance party at Club Kactus dubbed ‘Dancehall Nice Again’, which was organised by Five Star Promotions.
