Culture Queen/Swimsuit contestants to participate in weekend Motorcade in St. Kitts

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER a successful motorcade in Nevis on Saturday, June 5 that featured contestants of the Culturama Culture Queen and Culture Swimsuit shows, a similar event will take place in St. Kitts on Saturday, June 12.

     

    In a joint collaboration between the St. Kitts Music Festival and the Culturama Committee, a total of six contestants for the Culture Queen Pageant and eight contestants for the Miss Culture Swimsuit, as well as some of the local artistes who will be appearing on this year’s Music Festival, participated in an island-wide motorcade in Nevis which was hailed a success.

     

    The St. Kitts Music Festival is slated for June 24 to June 26, and the artistes who participated in the motorcade were SMI, Jah-Fire, C-Money and Pepper Ranks.

     

    SKNVibes learnt that the Music Festival’s Marketing Team decided to repeat the activity in St. Kitts, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
     
    The Pageant’s Sub-Committee sees the motorcade as another opportunity for the contestants to gain exposure.

     

    Today (June 9), the 14 contestants were scheduled to meet with the Premier of Nevis and Minister of Culture and have a number of activities scheduled for the leading up to their big night including a catamaran cruise and music festival promotion.

     

    The contestants for the Miss Culture Swimwear are: Ms. SKN Kitchen & Bath - Treshina Joshua; Ms Carib Brewery (St. Kitts Nevis) Ltd - T’shari Hull; Ms. Nevlec, Kersha Martin; Ms. Beyond Homes, Shenelle Isaac; Ms. Green Heart Homes Nevis Ltd., Sheba Williams–Jeffers; Ms. Z/moss (Coury’s Wholesale), Felicia Silcott; Ms. Hamoron Services, Nicole Stephens; and Ms. Royal Logistics, Alsanarda Hanley.

     

    The Culture Queen Pageant’s contestants are: Ms. LIME, Ulinda Warner; Ms. Island Tyres and Hardware Ltd., Mary Wangui Ngunjiri; Ms. Dan Backhoe, Trucking & Redimix, Deslyn Dore; Ms. Carib Brewery (St. Kitts Nevis) Ltd., Terezicia Adams; Ms. Development Bank of St. Kitts & Nevis, Te-Shell Sutton; and Ms. Coastal Air Transport, Verna Grante.
