BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – NAGICO Insurance launched its ground breaking NAGICARE Health Plan last Friday (Jun. 18), rolling out a series of services bound to take the nation’s insurance industry by storm.
Local staff and regional company officials convened last week for the official launch, as the company continues to build its portfolio as one of the leading insurers throughout the Eastern Caribbean. The new medical insurance plan is offered in emerald, gold and platinum packages and is provided comprehensively at both the individual and corporate levels.
Chief Executive Officer of the St. Maarten-headquartered company, Imran McSood Amjad, said demand for the medical insurance plan has been high for the past few years, as many residents view medical insurance as a major priority. He added that the new plan will ensure residents and nationals are able to access insurance that meets their needs.
"This is a very important day, as for the past three to four years I was constantly asked when such a plan would be made available and I am happy to say that it is being made a reality in St Kitts and Nevis," Amjad said.
