Beastiality case continues today

By: Suelika N. Creque, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE trial of a Sandy Pointer, who was charged with the offence of ‘Beastiality’, began yesterday (Jun. 23) with a total of five prosecution witnesses.

The prosecution team, led by the Director of Public Prosecution Paulina Hendrickson, is alleging that on December, 25, 2009 the accused was caught having sexual intercourse with a pig.

The incident is said to have occurred in Sandy Point and since then the accused has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The prosecution rested its case yesterday after the testimony of all its witnesses.

SKNVibes has learnt that the accused has decided to take the stand and is expected to do so when court resumes this morning.

The matter is being presided over by His Lordship Justice Francis Belle and, because of the nature of the case, the trial is being held in camera and the media is not allowed to sit in or publish the name of the accused, unless he is found guilty.
