Chaverl Scott and Imbookeal Bryan were both charged for throwing stones in the St. Peters area on October 19, 2005. Scott plead guilty while Bryan plead not guilty.
Police Prosecutor gave the evidence before Magistrate Josephine Mallalieu-Webbe at the Basseterre Magistrate on Monday, May 26.
The facts stated that on the said date around 6 p.m. Bryan was sitting in a certain public place specifically Dolly's shop at Stapleton Village. There were two others that were in the company of Bryan who were standing.
Scott approached Bryan and poked him in his side and said something to him.
"I hear you bang up my two sisters," Scott said. His sisters were also coming up the road and Scott told them to hit Bryan.
At that time one of the sister's got a stone from nearby, and as Scott walks away he throws the stone at Bryan.
The stone landed on the pavement then bounced up and hit Bryan.
Bryan then threw a stone after Scott but missed. The police was summoned to the area where they took statements and made the necessary inquiries into the incident.
The case was thrown out in court after they told the Magistrate that they had both forgiven each other.
Scott was also found with drugs in possession and pleaded guilty to that charge.
He told the court that he only had a small amount in his possession and that he was not going to sell it but was for his own use.
Mallalieu-Webbe then asked him if he smoked often to which he replied "not that often".
"You have to appear in court on the June 3rd to face your charge of the drugs being in your possession," she said. "You must appear in court low and not high."
Scott laughed and said, "Me Worship I'm not high you can carry me to the hospital and let them test me."
