BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DELVIN ‘JEREMIAH’ BENJAMIN of Cabbage Tree Project, Cayon, accused of the murder of Steven ‘Steam Fish’ Pemberton, was traversed to the next High Court Assizes in September.

The incident took place on August 23, 2008, and according to information received by this media house, at about 11:25 in the evening Pemberton was walking through an alley in Ottleys Village when he was attacked by a gunman.

As a result, he sustained multiple gunshot wounds about his body and succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the Joseph N. France (JNF) General Hospital.

The prosecution asked the judge to traverse the matter because of the absence of key witnesses who are out of the Federation.

Benjamin is being represented by Hesketh Benjamin.

Pemberton’s death marked the 15th of 23 murders in the twin-island Federation for 2008.
