BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – REIGNING National Carnival Queen Sudeakka Francis, who represented St. Kitts and Nevis, has done the Federation proud by placing First Runner-up in the Miss Carival Pageant held in St. Vincent on Friday, July 2, 2010.
The winner of the pageant was Miss St. Lucia Iva Statney, who also copped the Best Talent segment.
The Second Runner-up position went to Miss Dominica Marcia Baptiste, who also won the Best Swimwear and Best Evening Wear segments, while Miss Anguilla Sangrena Harris won the award for Best Community Spirit and placed Third Runner-up.
Best Interview was won by Miss British Virgin Islands Jasmine Perez while the Miss Photogenic award went to Shelana George of Antigua & Barbuda.
The other contestants were Miss Martinique Joane Lirus, Miss Grenada Beverly Victor, Miss Trinidad & Tobago Keda Pascall, Miss Venezuela Lucia Dimatteo Cacua and Miss St. Vincent Aphesia Matthews.
The winner will receive, among other prizes, US$4 300 while the First and Second Runners-up will receive US$1 300 and US$700 respectively.
