Philo Wallace continues dominance of Primary School league

By: Curtis Morgan

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, July 8, 2010 (Press Release) - Philo Wallace missed just about two balls which passed close to his stumps but outside of that, nearly all of the other balls came out of the middle of his bat as he entertained a small crowd at Grove Park on Wednesday afternoon.  Wallace representing the Charlestown Primary School in the TDC Primary school fixture versus VOJN, opened the batting with his captain Ross Powell and  was aggressive from the outset.

He played some scintillating drives and pulled majestically most of the times for sixes.  One huge straight hit towards the bath Hotel side screen end, was a particular delight. Ross Powell perished when one ball kept down and he was bowled neck and crop.
Wallace was joined by the equally exciting Javani Tyson who also maintained the momentum to the end of the innings.
