BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 1ST 2006 - Government's economic diversification programme could be credited for several advertisements promoting St. Kitts as a destination where new international services are available.
This is evident in the May/June edition of the American Eagle complimentary in-flight magazine "Latitudes," found on an American Eagle flight from Toronto, Canada to JFK-New York and which is also available on thousands of American Eagle flights worldwide.
The current issue lists 14 events, services or activities that are available on St. Kitts.
St. Kitts is listed as one of the 19 destinations around the world where Diamond International products are available.
On Port Zante, where numerous shops are expected to be operational by the end of this year, several international chains lists St. Kitts as a destination where Gucci, Little Switzerland, BVLGARI, TAGHEUER and other top of the line products are available .
St. Kitts is also listed in the American Eagle magazine as a location where Hertz, Avis and Cable & Wireless services are available.
The upcoming 10th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival to be held here from June 29th to July 2nd 2006 is prominently adverstised.
The St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino is featured in the current issue as on a "lush, paradisiacal Caribbean island that still remains uncrowded and unspoiled."
