McKnight youths escape gunmen's wrath

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – CRIMINALS continue to flaunt the laws of the land as three young men from McKnight Village last night (Jul. 13) escaped unharmed after being fired upon while in the vicinity of the Internet Café.

     

    According to a police press release, officers responded to a report of shooting that occurred in Adlam Street, Basseterre in the vicinity of the Internet Café at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.

     

    “Investigations revealed that Sylvester Crossley, Randell Hanley and Erastus Laville, all of McKnight, were sitting on a wall at the back of the Movies 3 building when two masked persons, dressed in all-black appeared and fired three shot at them,” the release said.

     

    It also stated that after being fired upon, the three men ran and escaped without any of them being injured.

     

    The scene was processed by the police and three spent shells were found.
     
    No suspect has so far been held in connection with the incident, but police said investigations are ongoing.
