BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THERE is no truth to the rumour of one of the Federations’ young and promising bands, Lightz Out, has broken up.
In the recent past, it was rumoured that the band no longer exists, so SKNVibes PEP tried to contact its manager, Seanel Herbert, to find out if there was any truth to the rumour and what caused it.
However, after several unsuccessful attempts to speak with Herbert, a source close to the band was contacted and expressed surprise when the question was asked.
He declared that the band is still together and going strong; so there is absolutely no truth to the rumour.
The Lightz Out Band celebrated its third anniversary earlier this year and had performed at the 13th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival while it was only two years old; a feat that no other band in the Federation has accomplished.
In a recent interview with Herbert, he boasted about the band’s accomplishments and noted that “for a young group, we have already accomplished a lot and we continue to pride ourselves on delivering a sound that is second to none”.
The Members of the band are Davin 'Dabo' Benjamin (vocalist), Javan 'Bab' Huggins (drummer), Jason 'KT' Kyte (vocalist), Devin 'Devbo' Lennon (lead guitarist), Istivon 'Isty' Richards (vocalist) and Revilo 'Revi' Rogers (bass guitarist).
