Stoney Grove Untouchables whip Majestics
CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, July 16, 2010 - Persons unable to make it to the Grell Hull/Stevens Netball Complex on Wednesday night were privileged to stay at home and view live Netball action from the Complex due to live streaming of the matches, coordinated by Mr. Lester Blackette.
On that night, two matches were played. In game one, the two St.Thomas’ teams engaged each other but the game was totally dominated by the senior team—St.Thomas’ One, as the younger players did not put up much of a fight. St.Thomas’ One led in all quarters:
1st quarter 10-3; 2nd-8-4; 3rd—14-3 and 4th—18-1.
The final score was: St.Thomas’ One 50 and St.Thomas’ Two 11.
In a more exciting game two, Stoney Grove Untouchables prevailed but not without some fight shown by Majestics. The results by the quarter saw: 1st quarter—Stoney Grove 11 Majestics 8; 2ndn- Stoney Grove 8 Majestics 3; 3rd – Stoney Grove 12 Majestics 12 and 4th — Stoney Grove 12 Majestics 8.
Final score: Stoney Grove Untouchables 43 Majestics 31.
Ace goal shooter, Latasha Isles converted 40 from 43 attempts.
