CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, July 16, 2010 - Youthful Nevisian cricketer Duan Webbe has received a late call to join the Leeward’s under 19 cricket team which is presently engaged in the West Indies under 19 tournament, currently ongoing in St.Lucia.

Webbe an exciting stroke-making batsman is one of two replacements in the team, due to injury.  The other two Nevisians in the squad are Adelvin Phillip and Wasim Mintos.

President of the Nevis Cricket Association Ronald Powell confirmed that Webbe has already left Nevis en route to Antigua and was forced to overnight in Antigua but should hopefully arrive in time for the start of the third round of matches, scheduled to commence later today.
