CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, August 6, 2010 - Dillon Claxton is back home. The ailing Nevis former under 15 cricketer who was convalescing in a Puerto Rico Hospital for the last several months has returned to his homeland and is currently warded at the Medical ward of the Alexandra Hospital.

He is currently in need of rest and may not be able to receive too many visitors but his family remains grateful for all of the assistance that has been received from the Nevisian public and beyond and seeks the continued prayers of all.

The young man was able to demonstrate his kind heartedness even during his critical illness.  In the not too distant past he made a donation of several balls to his school—the Gingerland Secondary School and even more recently made a donation of a large set of toys to the Vern ‘N’ Llew Pre School.

President of the Nevis Cricket Association Ronald Powell has indicated that he and his Association will be monitoring the progress of the former youth cricketer and will be willing to assist in anyway possible.

The Nevis Cricket Association previously made donations towards his Puerto Rico trips and medical expenses.
