BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 19, 2010 (SKNFA) - The St. Kitts-Nevis senior male football team has already started preparation for its 2010 Digicel Caribbean Cup (DCC) fixtures.
The following squad of thirty six (36) players have been selected to train with a view of making the final cut of eighteen (18) who will travel to Barbados very early October to not only try and qualify for the other stages of this competition, but also to place in the top four (4) which will automatically qualify them for the Gold Cup in the USA in 2011.
The full squad is: Julani Archiblad, Steadroy Charles, Joel Jeffers, Attis Hughes, Akil Byron, Malivia Harris, Devaughn Elliott, Keithroy Saddler, Kareem Mitchum, Kareem Harris, Alister Warner, Alexis Saddler, Keithroy Richards, Aiden Nurse, Byon Morson, Kaiyan Benjamin, Delroy Delaney, Errol O’Loughlin, Austin Lewis, Gerard Williams, Jamal Francis, Rovan Wigley, Ian Lake, Atiba Harris, Valmon Jeffers, Orlando Mitchum, Jevon Francis, Tishan Hanley, Earl Jones, Shashi Isaac, Steven Clarke, Keith Gumbs, Thrizen Leader, George Isaac, Keshorne Warde and Zeleon Morton.
The Head Coach is Mr. Clinton "Tinnie" Percival with Mr. Austin "Dico" Huggins as his assistant.
The other members of the technical and Management team will be announced shortly.
The team is practicing at Warner Park at least twice (2x) per week and the general public especially football lovers are invited to come on out and support the players in their practice sessions.
