CHARLESTOWN, Nevis, August 24, 2010 (Press Release) - A release from the Ministry of Sports yesterday, indicated that an All star squad has been selected based on performances in the recently concluded Primary Schools cricket championships.
The squad will commence training under Coach Deryck Parry as of Wednesday 25th August 2010.
The following named players are kindly asked to report to the Elquemedo Willet Park on Wednesday 25th August at 8.30 am where they will meet with Coach Parry and later transported to the Cotton Ground playing field for training.
Training sessions will be held from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon daily—for the remainder of the vacation period.
The squad reads: Taj Wharton, Juwan Evelyn, Akeem Walters, Tiandre Williams and Dennis Browne (Ivor Walters); Akeem Nisbett (VOJN), Rajendra Balgobin, Davenand Bissoon, Jermanie Elliot and Kayode Wilkin (Elizabeth Pemberton); Melicia Clarke, Tah’j Liburd and Oreon Browne (St.James’); Hassan Harvey, Shane Herbert, Marcus Duberry and Ian Liburd (St. Thomas’); Zydon Cameron, Vincent Lucas, Darwin Challenger and Tiwan Prentice (JLP); Deondre Newton, Jevanti Tyson and Adeaujah Jones (CPS).
