The launching was held at The Angelus Hotel beginning at 7 p.m. where members of the Rotary Club and also various media representatives where present to show support.

~~Adz:Left~~"As President of the Rotary Club of St. Kitts I would wish to congratulate the organizers of the timely issue of this magazine to further sensitize the public of this life threatening disease," said Veira. "There is a tendency in uninformed persons to treat people who have contracted this disease with indifference. HIV/AIDS should be accepted for what it is, an unfortunate infection that kills not in all cases but much too many."

Veira added: "I would therefore implore all persons who have come into contact with persons who suffer and have to live with this disease to treat them not with scorn of indifference but with the respect and support that you would render to anyone else.

He added that it is always wished that sooner rather than later a cure would be found for the dreaded disease.

"As Penicillin was discovered for so many diseases which prior to, was as devastating as HIV/AIDS, let us come together and support those who have and live in such unfortunate circumstances," he said.

The topics that are in the magazine are based on Stigma and Discrimination and Education. At the magazine launching there was also a pining ceremony by Rotary officials including Vaughn and Toni Frederick of Winn FM.

Frederick was also appointed as Media Ambassador for MISOPLWHA in St. Kitts and Nevis. She is a passionate Campaigner for the reduction of stigma and discrimination for people living with HIV/AIDS.
