BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Cayon youth who took the Federation by storm with his remarkable ‘21 Gun Salute’ and ‘Feel Like Crying’ songs, recently released another single.
Kervin Benjamin, who goes by the stage name Infamus, recently released ‘Tek Everything’ on the Reality riddim which was produced by Beach Back Music or BBM.
Infamus, whose last major public performance was at this year’s St. Kitts Music Festival, declined to comment on the song.
However, the chorus of the song says, “Me get some threat the other day but momma if they kill me, tek everything…”
The artistes is known to put real life experience into his music, whether from personal experience or from others through his interpretation.
However, the artistes did state that if anything were to happen to him, his mother would be the best person to “take everything” because she would have his best interest at heart.
“I know she is going to take care of everything properly if something happens to me, and also take care of my child who is on the way,” he said.
The 21-year-old was tight-lipped about his expectant baby but indicated that he was excited about becoming a father.
In terms of what is next for the artiste, Infamus said he is more focused on making great music that people would love and about securing a record deal.
He also said that he is planning a special event for his favorite fans…the children.
“My biggest fans are the children and I’m planning an event for the kids that will take place in September. It will be somewhat of a ‘Back to School’ concert…more information will be revealed shortly,” he said.
