Basseterre, St. Kitts - The Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society invites everyone (who is fit and fearless – or wishes to be) to the 3rd Anniversary of Independence Brimstone Hill Run. The course, from start (at the railway line across the Brimstone Hill Road at the bottom of the Hill) to finish at the Parade Ground at the top is 10 metres short of 1 ½ miles.
 
172 persons participated in 2008, 214 in 2009. Those who did not run walked.

The 2010 Run is to take place on Saturday 25 September, commencing at 7:30 am sharp. There will be cash prizes. First place winners in all categories will receive trophies.
 
Registration is to take place at the office of the Society, Taylor’s Range Basseterre from Monday 6 September to Friday 17 September between 9 am and 4 pm Mondays to Fridays.
 
Late registration will be accepted on Saturday 18th at the start site between 6:45 am and 7:15 am upon payment of a late fee of $10.00.
