BASSETERRE, St. Kitts –THERE will be a National Heroes Day treat for children in St. Kitts, this Thursday (September 16) , they will treated to a special National Heroes’ Day exciting presentation at Carnival Village from 3:00p.m.
This second annual National Heroes’ Day extravaganza will also feature a ‘Magical Fantasy Show’ with magician Magic Chris with his unique brand of fire breathing and fire juggling.
Not only would the children be mesmerized by magic tricks but will enjoy the afternoon singing along with some of their favorite characters theme songs. According to Hazel Jeffers who is responsible for hosting the event the characters would also speak with the children on different topics including morals and manners, healthy eating, gangs and safety tips.
Jeffers said there would also be a cultural presentation by the characters as well as a drama presentation.
Local celebrities King Konris and Infamus will also be present at the event performing and speaking with the children.
Some of the characters who will be present will include Dora, Sponge Bob, Diego, Elmo, Cars, Big Bird, Hello Kitty and Transformers.
The event will also be featured in Nevis at the Cultural Complex on the following Saturday (September 18).
So all you children out there tell your mommies and daddies the characters will be in town and parents feel free to join your children in all the excitement as it is a family affair for one and all. Adults pay only $15 while the children pay $10.
