Charlestown, Nevis - The much anticipated release of the Nevis cricket squad which will participate in the NAGICO Leeward Islands one day tournament will be made later today.  The selectors finalized the squad yesterday afternoon at the ET Willet Park and the team is currently being ratified by the Nevis Cricket Association.

The squad of 14 is expected to have added batting power with the return of West Indies player, Kieran Powell, fresh from his training with the Sagicor High Performance Center in Barbados. Powell apparently will not be vying for a spot in the Leeward Islands one day team as the WICB has informed that the Sagicor High Performance Center team will be participating in the WICB sponsored one day tournament set for October.

Nevis is set to play the first match of the tournament on Saturday 25th September versus St.Maarten in St.Maarten.  The full itinerary reads:
