Basseterre, St. Kitts - Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to help us kick off this inaugural 1st Annual Family Walk and Run event to benefit the St. Christopher Children’s Home & Service League which will be held on October 2nd at 4pm located at the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club. The entry fee is 40 EC per adult, 20 EC for children between 6 and 12 yrs. old, and free for children under 6 yrs. Old. Each participant will receive a t-shirt commemorating the event, after race refreshments and a Marriott prepared BBQ lunch.
Awards will be given to the first, second, and third place male and female runners of the 5k race. Meet local celebrity Kim Collins and his family as they help us celebrate this event. There will be a fun fair of music, face painting, and a bouncy castle for the kids.
Those who raise $500EC in pledges and turn in the pledge forms the day of the event will receive an IPOD Shuffle and a chance to win an IPOD Nano.
Free transportation will be available from the KFC and fire station bus stop starting at 2:00pm and run for every half hour till 6:30pm.
Registration begins at 2:30pm the day of the Family Walk/Run event.
