BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INFAMUS’ last music video was released seven months ago at his birthday bash, and he is now working on a new one for his fans.

On February 20 of this year he released ‘Gonna Make It’, which was produced by Nigel Lewis of Tru Capo. This time around, however, Infamus, who is currently in New York, has been working with Kittitian producer Jeffry Phipps on a video for his recently released single ‘It’s My Life’.

Although the artiste had released a number of songs that are also of music video quality since ‘Gonna Make It’ hit the airwaves, he said ‘It’s My Life’ is the perfect song to release at this time.

“My life means more to me right now and I just had to let it be known,” he explained.

In the new single, Infamus sings about always doing things his way and that he has not changed his mind from making it in the music industry.

“People are saying that I’ve changed and that I have people controlling me and holding me back, but my song speaks about all of that,” he said.

A line in the song says, “…Eh beach back every man was sent on a mission to uphold their own destiny, you know what’s best for you and I know what’s best for me, it’s my life.”

The song was produced by Kesean ‘Hi-light’ James of Beach Back Music.

For the new music video, Infamus had invited some of his fans to be a part of the shooting on September 29, which he said “turned out great”.

The artiste, who has been in New York over a month to date, has been performing at a number of events there and recently apologised on his Facebook Fan Page for missing out on some important performances and gigs in St. Kitts and Nevis that he had been booked for before travelling to the US.

The artiste wrote on his page, “…To my beautiful fans who are wondering about my absence from gigs in St. Kitts and Nevis, please accept my humblest apology it's not my intention to let you down but right now I am dealing with the business side of my music and management team while here in New York…Also want to apologise to Hazel Jeffers and Beaumont Park who were kind enough to believe in his music and talent and wanted to feature me on their event.”

Infamus recently performed (Oct. 8) at an event in the Bronx that featured Jamaican Reggae artistes Gyptian and Chi Ching Ching.
