Basseterre, St. Kitts - The Green Valley League is at the half way stage and a very interesting battle for positions into the knock out and champions phase of the competition.
The recent passage of the sub tropical storm caused some damage to the lighting system and as a result the most recent game between any Weather and Lodge was postponed. However in games played on the weekend Mantab came from behind to win 2-1 over Sunday Morning Blues and in doing so earned their first three points for the season. Waterworks kept their unbeaten record in tact with a hard fought 2-0 victory over the Cayon Football Academy.
Green Valley Pub had more reason to celebrate as they won 1-0 over Molinuex while Any Weather drizzled on Radicals to win 1-0.The next game is expected to be on Thursday October 14 with an all Cayon derby between Water Works and Green Valley Pub.
