BASSETERRE (20th October, 2010) Tourism Awareness Month explodes with excitement when the hottest designers in the Federation showcase their designs in Movado Modeling Agency’s ‘Colours’ fashion show.

The Colours fashion show, which takes place on Sunday in Carnival Village, is one of the exciting events commemorating St. Kitts’ Tourism Awareness Month.

Coordinator of the fashion show, Jason Amory, said the traditional runway show is a celebration of the colourful designers that reside in St. Kitts including Brown Sugar, Winnielle and the Caribelle Batik.

Amory also pointed out that Jamaican designer, Shaki, will also showcase her designs.

For more than a month 25 of the Federations top models have been preparing for the runway under Amory’s direction. The models hail from various modeling agencies in the Federation including Movado Modeling Agency, Xclusive Model Agency and S Model Management.

The fashion show is expected to highlight the important role that Tourism plays in St. Kitts.

The month of October is designated as the Tourism Awareness Month with a series of special events and activities to increase public awareness of the importance of tourism to St. Kitts and the various opportunities it affords individuals.
