    On Saturday 24th June 2006 after a routine stop and search in the McKnight area officer of the Special Task Force found a plastic bag containing eighteen (18) pieces of crack cocaine. No one has been made answerable for the find to date.

     


    The following person were arrested and charged on Monday 26th June 2006:

     

    · Dennis James of Old Road was charged with the offence of "Larceny" committed on 22nd June 2006. He was later bailed at the Basseterre Magistrate Court in the sum of $5,000.00 to reappear at the said court on 14th August 2006.
     
    · Delroy Tota (24 yrs) of Upper Monkey Hill, a long with three (3) seventeen-year-old male juveniles and one (1) sixteen-year-old male juvenile of Stapleton Village were charged with the offence of "Robbery" committed on 23rd June 2006. All four juveniles were bailed in the sum of $5,000.00 each to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 14th August 2006. Tota the only adult in the group was remanded to Her Majesty Prison as another charge is pending against him. Their conditions of bail are; to not to associate with each other, to report to the Stapleton Police Station every Monday and Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and to maintain a 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew.
     
    ~~Adz:Left~~· Jamal Foreman (18 yrs), Damian Scott (19 yrs) along with three (3) seventeen-year-old male juveniles and one (1) sixteen-year-old male juvenile all of Stapleton Village were charged with the offence of "Battery" committed on 24th June 2006. They were later bailed in the sum of $2,000.00 each to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 3rd July 2007.
