BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DESPITE the bad weather conditions on Saturday (Oct. 30), the party dubbed Halloween 3-The Return had an excellent turnout at the TDC Grounds.
Most persons who attended the party were attired in costumes while some only wore masks and a few others in their normal attire.
The party got warmed up with some early conscious and slow jams, and then the DJ’s got into full swing sometime after 1:00 a.m. keeping the females rotating their waist lines and the men rocking.
Chalice Sound, Gunniness Evolution and Triple S - Sweet Sister Sensia - kept the party in high motion until sometime after 3:00 a.m. when the Nu Vybes Band International took over.
The band started out with a slow pace then increased the pep throughout the wee hours of the morning.
SKNVibes PEP spoke briefly with the party’s host, Andrew Arthurton of Big Drew Productions, who said it was excellent and in spite of the weather the turnout was more than what he expected.
Arthurton declared that he was excited to see that most patrons went all out this year to get costumes. He also gave special thanks to sponsors Digicel, Red Devils, Tru Capo and Insane Designs.
The winners of the Sexiest Female Costume and the Scariest Male Costume would be announced later in this week. The female will win herself one Blackberry phone, compliments Digicel, while the male’s prize is a bottle of Hennessey, compliments Big Drew Productions.
The event ended sometime around 6:00 a.m.
